I have learned over the years that for thyroid patients to feel at their best, achieving normal blood tests with treatment is not enough. The treating physician needs to address the many facets of their symptoms and suffering going from persistent depression and anxiety to struggle with weight, sexual dysfunction, flare-ups of PMS and menopausal symptoms.
